Our Story

Nestled in the heart of the ancient fishing village of Robin Hood’s Bay, Sunnyside Cottage has stood as a witness to centuries of maritime history. Originally built in the late 1700s for a local master mariner, the cottage has been meticulously restored to blend its rugged fisherman roots with modern, breezy elegance.
Every beam and stone tells a story of the North Sea gales and the quiet, sun-drenched mornings that give our retreat its name. We’ve kept the soul of the home intact while inviting the light and air of the coast inside.
